A powerful workflow system allows the right people  to approve content before it is published to the live web site.

Hierarchical content folders

Nested groups of content can be created to unlimited depth, and permissions can be applied and inherited.  This allows for extreme flexibility in restricting users to the desired actions and simplifying their view of the content store to their own area of responsibility.

Linear or Parallel approval models

Workflow processes can be defined which require either a series of approvals one after the other (linear) or several approvals in any order (parallel).

Email notification

Participants in the workflow process are kept informed of progression by email.

Full audit trail

A full history is maintained for all content changes as well as status changes such as workflow progression, publishing and archiving. This history can be viewed at the user or content object level.

Preview content changes

Preview updated content in context with the rest of the web site before approving and publishing it to the live web server.
